Justin Scott, popularly known as Big K.R.I.T., takes us back to where he grew up in Meridian, Mississippi for the debut episode of Breaking Through via Complex Mag.
During the 10 minute clip, K.R.I.T. discusses his upbringings and how he became the artist he is now — he learned the cello in fifth grade and the tuba in sixth grade, by 14, he had an entire studio in his grandma’s kitchen.
