New York will always be regarded as a special place when it comes to hip-hop. After all, it is one of the most influential cities in the world and considered the birthplace of the genre that everyone loves. That’s why it comes as no surprise that the city that never sleeps has produced another super-talent, this time in the form of Hurri Harran. At only 22 years old, the Trinidadian hip-hop newcomer has taken the city by storm with his new single “Beyonce”, and for good reason.
“Beyonce” could be classified as a summer national anthem. The record is an afropop masterclass, and will have any listener on their feet and moving their body. A slow, spaced-out instrumental paired with Hurri Harran‘s catchy and relaxing voice is ultimately a recipe for success. “Beyonce” has already been on repeat in my playlist, now it’s time for you to add it to yours.
