Buku Steez has not so quietly been dropping some solid records as of late, and he’s only showing that to an even fuller effect on two hot new tracks in the form of his new bigworldep. You need to stop what you’re doing and turn these tracks on right now. The first track, “BeatItUp”, is an outright up tempo banger, with Austin Marc handling the production. Steez shows off some impressive flows and the sonics are really on point with this one. The Nashville native flows effortlessly over some melodic and bouncy combinations of keys and kicks. The second track, “Trap Door” is a true flip side of Harvey Dent’s coin. Buku shows off his ability to craft an entirely different type of track, mixing in autotune to further deliver this iconic sound he’s crafting. The Bobby Johnson production is a perfect backdrop that only furthers the reasons you’ll find yourself hitting rewind more than a few times.
