Releasing the original “100k Coffin” just about a month ago on his fantastic, Deadbeat Boyfriend Diaries tape, Busu taps ROLE MODEL for this excellent remix. Busu puts his undeniable talent on full display as he works his way across the production, crafted by himself and collaborator Alexius, leaving a trail of memorable lines and his stand-alone delivery in his wake. Inviting ROLE MODEL onto the track was the perfect move, as it provides a balance to the style that Busu brings with ROLE MODEL‘s smoother bedroom-pop sound. Overall this track has taken a place as one of my favorite songs of the year – just in time.
