Chance The Rapper collabs with Kirk Franklin, one of the greats in gospel to perform with in at the Pitchfork Festival.

Chance the Rapper ends this year’s Pitchfork Festival with good and loving vibes all around: the Chicago star performs on one of his hometown’s largest stages. He ended his set with “Sunday Candy,” a collaboration with Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment that was  one of the hits on the Surf album earlier this year. Chance brought out a few special guests, including gospel great Kirk Franklin and Jamila Wilson, who sang the lovely hook on the album version. Chance is an avowed fan of Franklin: at a Harvard University lecture back in May, he told the class, “One of my favorite—if not my favorite artists, definitely my favorite composer—is Kirk Franklin.”
