One week after its premiere on Apple Music, Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book album has finally logged in it’s official sales number. Although the project was completely free, the Chicago rapper managed to acquire 57.3 million streams in one week, allowing him to debut at no. 8 on the Billboard 200 this week.
Kanye West’s latest album, The Life of Pablo, was supposed to be the first album to chart without a physical copy, but Tidal opted not to report stats to Nielsen Music for Billboard. So congrats Chano! You deserve it.
