Time and time again Brandon James impresses me. In the movies Boston is portrayed as a beautiful city but the music coming from the artists out of there shows a different side. Keeping a consistent flow throughout this whole track, “Best Of Me” brings back this classic street sound that is slowly fading away from the music game. Absolutely spitting, hitting with bar after bar the lyrical cadence and skill that he shows is next level.
While the song is wicked tough, it shouldn’t be overlooked that Brandon James directed and edited this whole video himself too. Shooting the video in the streets keeping it raw and intimate captures the style of the song perfectly. Being an overall creative he has proven himself yet again as one of the best and shows no sign of slowing down.
