The Memphis rapper DJ Dee Boogie makes his first appearance on the Chiefers pages in style with his new visuals for “Hit the Switch.” If you have not heard Boogie is different then most Memphis rappers as he is closely tied with Blockboy‘s group. This association by no means makes him destined, however, having Blockboy in his corner and a well connected crew his chances are promising.
He possesses the similar uncontainable energy in his flow that Blockboy has, but puts a dynamic touch on it to create a cinematic experience for listener. Boogie dropped his album 2ODD in 2018, and this visual is the first piece of content since its release. The video was mixed phenomenally over the Choppamatics instrumental by one Blockboy’s favorite video directors Zach Hurth.
