This past week I found buzzing Brooklyn rapper Olukara, and was immediately made a fan. From his wild flows to his hooks and well-written lyrics, Olu has a unique sound that stands out amongst the typical New York sound, and all adds up for a refreshing listen every time. I’m definitely looking forward to more from him, as he’s got that “it factor” in my eyes, and I think he makes fun hip-hop music to listen to while still maintaining lyrical and artistic integrity, which is a big ol’ win in my book.
