Tee Grizzley is a name you may not have heard before, but hot damn you will soon. He’s been making a bunch of noise out of Detroit with an A1 video and song titled “First Day Out.”
It’s a tremendous track that starts off smooth and chilled-out before kicking you in the mouth about halfway through. Tee turns up the heat as the beat switches up, coming with a ferocious flow and piercing rhymes that come to life in the menacing video. It reminds me of Meek Mill‘s “Dreams and Nightmares Intro” that has the same sort of mid-song switch up, though I will say I like Tee’s record much better.
With over two million views on the “First Day Out” video in just a few weeks, Tee Grizzley is well on his way to national stardom if he keeps this up. Be sure to check out the video above and look out for more from him soon.
