The Daya Foundation, a non-profit organization in Chile, has been observing an unexpectedly large crop from South America’s first medical marijuana drop, which is expected to treat approximately 200 cancer patients.
The cultivators for the Daya Foundation have approximated that the 400 plants will yield about 120 kilos (about 265 lbs.) of marijuana. The scientists will then take the marijuana and turn it into highly concentrated cannabis oil, where the finished product will then be distributed to the aforementioned 200 cancer patients.
The harvest was expected to cultivate 200 lbs, making it a successful batch.
The seeds were provided by the Dutch company Paradise Seeds, who will become the first company to be export seeds and marijuana to Chile.
Hopefully this will help out all the suffering.
