Underground fashion is very important. Within the last ten years, I think that hip-hop, skating, and fashion has really started to intertwine. I haven’t posted much about clothing on Daily Chiefers, but I think that’s going to change soon. The underground clothing game is growing so quick, especially my friend George Hammond’s Grand Rapids, MI based skate wear brand CLEAN Skate Co.
CLEAN just dropped a look book for their fall release, which was shot in downtown Grand Rapids by photographer Blake Jablonski. You’ll notice that the look book is in black and white, and George said this about it: “Most of my stuff is in black and white. Me and my friends are always in the streets skating and shit so we went for a black and white grimy look.”
As a skater and connoisseur of underground clothing, I really rock with CLEAN because they stick true to their name. Their stuff really is clean. This release of clothing with drop on November 4th on www.cleanskateco.com, and you can buy some pieces from their last drop at discounted prices too!
