Peep the behind the scenes documentary for Skyzoo’s Music For My Friends along with a sampler for the upcoming album.
With “Music For My Friends” releasing within two weeks, Skyzoo liberated a beautifully crafted documentary that he has been working on, giving fans and friends alike, the background on his new LP, accompanied by a few stories of how life was back on his old stomping grounds in Brooklyn and Jamaica Queens. Personally, I love when artists take the time to create works such as this for their albums. It clearly shows that they aren’t just throwing songs together on a tracklist, but are portraying how they’ve invested time into putting their lived experiences into music & perfecting it, which is not always an easy task. But, aside from the video, Skyzoo has also dropped a sampler comprised of snippets from every song on the album. I’ll be staying away from it though. I want my first listen full listen of the album to be a fresh experience. Watch the documentary, & listen to the sampler below.
