This song is such a fucking vibe that I really can’t take off repeat. convolk, 9TAILS and guardin all come together for a super catchy, vibe-y and fun new single called “Whatever It Takes”. Produced by jakkyboi and halberd, they deliver a string-heavy beat which all three artists beautifully lay their own original and unique vocal over. What makes me love this record even more than the actual sonics is the Jack Rottier-directed visual, which is one of the most home-made visuals I’ve seen in too long. Taken in what looks like just one cut, it’s just the three artists, convolk, 9TAILS and guardin all posting up and drinking with their friends in an NYC apartment.
