Hip-hop legends Curren$y and The Alchemist are back to work for their collaboration LP, Continuance, containing impressive features from Wiz Khalifa, Babyface Ray, Boldly James, and more. In addition to the impressive vocal deliveries across the project, The Alchemist stays consistent with impressive low-lying production allowing Curren$y to float over every track.
These two have paved the way for the underground for years now and it’s great to see them join forces for the third time, after the release of 2011’s Covert Coup and 2016’s The Carrollton Heist, Curren$y took to Twitter before the release to say this project was in the same vein as Covert Coup which was only recently released to streaming. The Alchemist had one of the most prominent years of his career in 2021 with the release of seven projects and numerous singles and EPs, all while winning Complex’s Greatest Producer Alive Award. He seems to be starting this year off with the same energy, already dropping with Curren$y as well as announcing a project with Earl Sweatshirt in the works.
