TheGoodPerry, formerly Burberry Perry, has played in incredible role in the rise of Lil Yachty. In watching Yachty’s mini-doc with Petra Collins on The FADER, the story goes as this: Yachty and Perry were each making music different from there friends, and while individually they were figuring it out, together they combined for a glove-fit and ushered in the era of bubblegum trap.
He’s gone on to create more and more waves with Lil Boat, and even got some bars from Kylie Jenner. As long as Yachty’s going strong, so will Perry—so you’ll be seeing and hearing A LOT more from him.
