6 months removed from releasing his amazing “In Progress EP“, Philly Emcee Dayne Jordan, returns to drop “In Progress”, the first single, and intro track to his upcoming album “Memoirs Of Dayne Jordan” out July 21st.
On “In Progress”, Dayne gives a detailed timeline of his come up and progression as a rapper. From working as a shoe salesman to building a relationship with Lupe Fiasco, and other opportunities which presented themselves to him throughout his life and how he capitalized on each one. I’ve been following Dayne Jordan for a while, due to his connection with Lupe, and his talent has multiplied greatly since Sand & Foam, and the Steppin’ Lasers Tour, back when he went by the name of Dosage, to In Due Time in 2012 & all the way up to now. And if his last project is indicative of the levels of rapping we’ll hear on his LP in July, then I’m extremely excited for what he has in store.
