DC’s Joey Green delivers his wild, new opus simply entitled Lost. This is the first I’ve encountered Joey‘s sound, but this project is truly incredible. His nearly-monotoned vocals with quiet confidence stays in the pocket during all of his verses. The precision to making verses flow like this absolutely ridiculous, but a blessing to the eardrum.
From his first bars on “Signs/Swish” to his abtract waves on “Team Spirit”, Green never disappoints. With production from himself, Subdaio, C.A.P., Matissmo, Kaya, Jax, Colby McQueen, Foejorty and Oseias, this project is a compilation of beautiful chaos and talent. Heavy-bass and memorable samples bleed all over this album. This project won’t be blared throughout the clubs, but is a wondrous project for your everyday life. That is a success for Joey Green, he’s gonna gain some fans with this one. Lost is amazing, don’t miss this.
