I’ve heard a lot of shocking statements in my short 24 years on earth regarding marijuana consumption, but this proclamation that Fox News medical analyst Dr. David Samadi stated might be the most absurd statement I’ve ever heard.
On a broadcast of Fox & Friends, Dr. Samadi replied to a study published in Scientific Reports discovering that marijuana was less dangerous than any other common recreational drug, including alcohol, cigarettes, Cociane, etc.
In his reply he stated that “crack babies” were caused by women “smoking this whole marijuana business.” I’m not the sharpest tool in the toolshed, but wouldn’t those babies be called “pot babies”?
We all know Fox News is filled with old, jealous white men that can’t get over their ignorance, but let’s be real, this has crossed the fuckin’ line. Don’t you agree? This isn’t some 1930s propaganda campaign designed to scare people straight. It’s 2015. Wake the fuck up!
Here’s part of what Dr. Samadi had to say about the dangers that await those who choose to consume marijuana:
We’re seeing in Colorado that we had 13 kids that came to the emergency (room) and ended up in the ICU as a result of overdose from marijuana. Now we have crack babies coming in because pregnant women are smoking this whole marijuana business.
Dr. Samadi finished his statement by saying that medical marijuana is “the biggest scam I’ve ever seen.”
“I challenge any doctors, come to my Facebook, convince me how this is healthy for you. I’m 100 percent against this.” – Dr. Samadi.
