The meaning of “very soon” is debatable. Frank Ocean said “very soon” and then we saw nothing. Alongside Kanye West’s SWISH and Rihanna’s Anti, Drake’s upcoming album, Views From the 6, is one of the most anticipated records of 2016. And Drake, well aware of this fact, announced that the record will be coming out very soon.
“Views From the 6 coming very soon,” Drake said last night in an announcement to the crowd at his New Year’s Eve party at E11even Miami nightclub.

In 2015, Drake released two mixtapes: If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What a Time to Be Alive, a collaboration with Future. Not much is known about the new record, though in April we learned the album would include another collaboration with Beyoncé. In the meantime, we just have to deal with the little amount of detail Drake has given.
