DRAM – Check Ya Fabrics

DRAM links up with legendary producer, Rick Rubin, for a pitched-up cut, titled “Check Ya Fabrics.” The VA-beach artist has taken a page out of Frank Ocean’s book and dropped a high-powered new single with pitched-up vocals. His vocals are still soulful and exciting as ever, though. The production on this thing is beautiful, but what else should we expect from the co-founder of Def Jam Records, Rick Rubin. According to DRAM’s twitter, he and Rick have been working on music for years, but this is the first one that has officially been put together. It also seems from his twitter handle and his YouTube channel, he has dropped the periods from his name and is simply going with DRAM (we’re not mad about it).
