Dro Kenji has firmly cemented himself as one of our favorite artists of 2020. He blew us away with his Tears and Pistols project that he dropped last month, and he’s already back with new material in the form of his latest single titled “Up.”
Kenji‘s voice is really like no one else’s out there right now, and he gives it ample room to shine on this track. The lyrics are as dark and moody as ever, and what’s so impressive is that he’s truly developed an idiosyncratic style so early in his career. As an added bonus, the track is produced by the always-reliable Nick Mira of Internet Money, which really brings the track to the next level.
