My personal favorite part of today was finding out that Minnesota native Dwynell Roland of The Rotation dropped a new project the other day entitled The Popular Nobody. His style is super old school sounding, but he has the midwestern sound that I admire so much. This project is super interesting because it just doesn’t sound like people I’ve heard. Usually you can tell who someone is trying to sound like, but Dwynell just sort of vibes out and curates his own style, and it’s only a matter of time before he blows up.
