Last Thursday (May 28th), Tyler, the Creator was going through some old photos, causing his to tweet some controversial tweets like: “5 years later isn’t that long but wow soooo much has happened,” he wrote, “although it’s no more, those 7 letters are forever.”

Those “7 letters” obviously refer to “OFWGKTA,” so many believed Tyler’s tweets were the official end of Odd Future. But then, Tyler woke up to all this nonsense the next morning and responded promptly:

“ALL I WAS DOING WAS LOOKING AT OLD PHOTOS WITH FRIENDS AND THINKING ABOUT HOW TIME FLIES, CRAZY HOW ONE TWEET CAN STIR SO MUCH.”

After that, fans were pretty much left even more confused. That same day, Earl Sweatshirt went to his Twitter account as well to confirm “the obvious,” which was that Odd Future is indeed “no more” — having no sympathy for anyone, calling his tweeps “male virgins” for being in their feelings in the first place.

“SAVE YOURSELF YEARS OF EMBARRASSMENT AND STOP DRESSING LIKE AN EASTER BASKET, GO TALK TO SOME BITCHES! TRUSMEDADY.”

Although the two have created quite the stir on Social Media, a good friend of mine and Odd Future insider told that “no more” is simply that they have all chosen to focus on their solo careers — even noting the constant promotion that they still do with each other including features, appearances at festivals, and much more.

So, although Odd Future is “no more” RIGHT NOW, can we all just make a petition for a studio OFWGKTA album instead? I think that would be a better solution. Either way, thanks for the tunes.
