Faith Evans and the late Notorious B.I.G. were one of hip-hop’s most famous couples at one point, and it looks like the two will be reunited once again on wax. Evans recently phoned into Dame Dash‘s radio show and spilled on the upcoming duet album, titled King and I. It’s apparently nearing its final stages, and (I believe) would be the first bit of real new music the world has gotten from Mr. Wallace this millennium.
The project is clearly gaining steam, and frankly I can’t wait for it. That being said, what’s more interesting is the prospect of a Biggie hologram that would potentially be used in music videos off the album.
I am straight giddy to see how this all unravels, especially since we’re supposed to get the first single before summer, and the full album in the Fall. Stay tuned, Chiefers.
