North Carolina’s NA$TY has been building a buzz for the last six years with a lo-fi aesthetic and a cult following on Soundcloud. His new track “Downy” sees him floating over a fluttering flute melody for a perfect track for a smoke sesh.
Part of what makes NA$TY an intriguing force in underground hip hop is his hidden identity and lowkey social media presence. The rapper’s Instagram is private and only one of his covers features his face. However, if he keeps building on his sound, it might be hard for him to stay as private as he wants seeing that the loyalty of his Soundcloud base seems to be only growing.
