Today we get some sad news out of Paterson, New Jersey as XXL Freshman and viral star Fetty Wap has been hospitalized after reportedly being hit by a car while on his bike in Paterson.
We haven’t been able to find much more information than that, but stay tuned for information as it reveals itself and #PrayForFettyWap.
JOEY UPDATE: After being tagged in stable condition, Fetty Wap decided to release a public statement in regards to the incident.
“Fetty Wap was involved in a motorcycle incident earlier today. He was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition. His family wants to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support. They ask that you respect their privacy during this time. We will provide an update on his condition as it becomes available.”
UPDATE:
After initially being tagged as in critical condition, Fetty Wap appears to be a-okay and not in any danger of losing his life.
My fam picked up Fetty at the scene and got him treatment. He’s good. Other guy is in worse shape.
