Minneapolis based rising artist Finding Novyon just dropped Super Saiyan 2, a Dragon Ball Z inspired project. As a die hard Dragon Ball Z fan and total rap nerd, I can totally appreciate this project for what it is. You can hear hints of the Dragon Ball Z aesthetic in the beats, and that geeks me the fuck out.
This project has an all-star production team as well, with production from Sonny Digital, Topper Atwood, Mike Frey, Slade Da Monsta, and Finding Novyon himself. Minneapolis has a super dope rap scene, having birthed some of my favorite artists to date, including Finding Novyon. Honestly, if there is a project worth listening to the whole way through, Super Saiyan 2 is it. Stream it below and let us know what you all think!
