After releasing their incredibly smooth cut ” About You,” East London duo Fine Print return with their newly released single, titled “Can’t Lie” — a soulful blend of good vibrations and upbeat melodies. Here’s what they said about how the track came together.

“Before we started on ‘Can’t Lie’ we had been having quite long conversations about the hip hop we loved. Especially the dusty sounding productions from people like Buckwild, MF Doom, Madlib and of course Dilla. While vocally referencing people like Cornell Cambell and Curtis Mayfield. As soon as we nailed the bass line on the chorus we felt we had something special to work with and things fell into place pretty naturally after that.”
