After much-anticipation, this weeks album releases have finally received their initial projections, courtesy of HDD, of course. This week’s batch included Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album, untitled unmastered., along 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne’s joint album, ColleGrove.
With that said, Kendrick Lamar’s gritty, unmastered album is projected to sell 140-150k in album units, totaling to 175-185k if you include streaming. Although it didn’t hit 324,000 like TPAB did, Kendrick has to be please with 180k using only unfinished cuts.
However, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz’ ColleGrove LP is projected to have 35-45k in album units and 55-65k including streams, which is pathetic if you ask me. But hey, I’m just a mysterious fat white kid. Stay tuned for more!
