Sylvan LaCue
Formally known as QuEST, Miami’s Sylvan Lacue has had a roller coaster career and personal life that includes winning a deal with Jermaine Dupri’s now defunct TAG Records, touring and collabing with Logic, joining Visionary Music Group, and then leaving them to start his own label WiseUp & Co. Despite the turbulence, his body of work has been unrelentingly consistent, highlighted by the standout Searching Sylvan album, and as a result he has earned well deserved accolades from the Huffington Post and the Miami New Times. Shedding the QuEST nomenclature in 2015, and seemingly coming back reborn as his birth name, Lacue has since dropped a string of successful singles and projects finding placement on Complex and highlighted in features with The Fader. – Chiefer Adam
