Today, Adult Swim released another single from its current “Single Series”, and fans were treated to a surprise combination of super musical talent.
What yielded from what was thought to be a lone Flying Lotus single was “WOKE”, a trio comprised of artists Flying Lotus, Seattle duo Shabazz Palaces, & genius Los Angeles bassist Thundercat. Their first offering of music is “The Lavishments Of Light Looking”, an airy, spaced out, jazz tinged funk groove featuring vocals from legendary Parliament Funkadelic front man George Clinton.
