As Pitchfork points out, Odd Future affiliate Frank Ocean is no longer with Def Jam Records. According to Pitchfork’s Marc Hogan, it looks like Frank’s new album Blonde was independently released through his Boys Don’t Cry imprint, with his album Endless fulfilling his contract with Def Jam. While there’s been no public statement from either party involved, it looks like Frank Ocean and Chance the Rapper are now the biggest unsigned artists. Stay tuned for more information.
