From The Garden by Isaiah Rashad (Ft Lil Uzi Vert)

During the House Is On Fire rollout, Isaiah Rashad has shown us that he’s here to make some lit music. He wants to make music that can be played at a function stepping away from the more jazz-influenced hip-hop we’ve come to know from him. I’m here for it, and “From the Garden” is a slapper. Rashad gives an upbeat hypnotic hook, and Lil Uzi is in a league on his own.

Act Up by Terry Presume

This is a record that you want to get to know before everyone else does. Terry Presume’s “Act Up” is a funky gender-bending hip-hop record. It’s giving Andre 3000 vibes, and we need this energy in the current climate. This is good to get you in your bag with your love interest, and you’ll be in your duffle while bumping this.

Killer Lover Boy by SEB

SEB has been the talk of the town because of his viral single “seaside demo” and “Killer Lover Boy” is his follow-up. I like this record better, and I think this is going to be on my summer playlist. It’s just a good love song about being into someone immensely, and I love the production on it as well. A fantastic record that I recommend you bump

Skate by Silk Sonic

Silk Sonic has been teasing us following the success of their first single, “Leave The Door Open”. “Skate” is the perfect follow-up, an upbeat, fun record you can hear at any cookout. Your little cousin to your grandma will love this record and will want to play it. So be ready for this to become overplayed in the next few weeks.

A Piece Of Your Mind by Jelani Aryeh

“A Piece Of Your Mind” is a beautiful indie record that splashes of experimental embellishments yet hits in a place of comfort. Jelani Aryeh has mastered making music that is cutting edge but somehow feels nostalgic. I’m always excited for a new release from him, and he’s a star in the making.

Bastard by Glaive

Glaive continues to pioneer the hyper pop sound, and it’s been a fantastic journey to watch. “Bastard” is the most cinematic single he has dropped to date and shows his versatility/class. I love the swell before the hook that follows the verse; it’s beautiful and feels like fine art. I love this record!
