The long-awaited return of Jean Dawson has finally come. “Porn Acting” is the official follow-up to his critically acclaimed project Pixel Bath. This is the best song to get the ball rolling and I’m hyped to see if there is a new project in the works. I love the plucky guitar chords that start the song and how the production progresses into an angsty garage rock banger. The lyricism is introspective but poetic, I’m in love. The video comes out later in the day and we all know this is where he really shines, so watch it first here!
FOOL4LOVE by ERICDOA
ericdoa has slowly become one of my favorite musicians because he always seems to know how to write a catchy hook. I really respect theta because that makes me come back to the song 100000000 plus times. “Fool4Love” is easily a slap with a hook of gold, I’m telling you I could listen to this record a million times just to hear the chorus. The production has some booming bass and more of an upbeat dance flare to it. It’s everything you could want out of a new ericdoa track.
GHOULS! ZOMBIES! SKELETONS! by STEFAN THEV
STEFAN THEV has released a record that I swear is going to go viral in one mean or another. “GHOUL! ZOMBIES! SKELETONS!” is a catchy record that I’ve found myself in a trans with. STEFAN has found his element on this record and it’s easily his best record out of date. With a hook that will be stuck k in any listener’s head and production that is uniquely him. This record shows that he is a star in the making. I can’t wait to see the music video dropping in the near future.
GOOD PUSS by COBRAH (FT CUPCAKKKE)
“GOOD PUSS”! If you are ready to get into something that’s unique and can’t be copied then COBRAH and cupcakKe have a song for you. The “GOOD PUSS” Remix is a great addition to the original record (Which has been on repeat by my friends for a minute now). With the deep-house-inspired production and the slick flows provided by both of the featured artists, it makes for a fun experience. I’m enamored by the eroticism of the record!
SUNSET DRIVE bt DREAMER ISIOMA
“Sunset Drive” is the perfect smoking music. Dreamer Isioma has a hit with this one, with a nice groove and laid-back vocals it’s a smooth record that packs a lot of punch. In the visuals, we get to see them hanging out with their friends and recording the project. I love the simple nature of the visuals but really show a peek into the life of an up-and-coming musician.
CUCKOO by LEE SUGAR
This thing is weird and strange in the best way possible! “Cuckoo” by Lee Sugar is a breath of fresh air and needs to be pushed in a major way. I love the smooth harmonies, he has a great singing voice. The production is subtle but still has a nice feel to it. I’m very surprised by the unique lyricism because it feels like only LEE could write this song and that is respectable. This is a song you have to check out!
