out of touch by Laica

Bedroom R&B is a growing genre and can be one of the most innovative soundscapes in modern music. Laica stands at the forefront of fresh talent in the space. Recently dropping two records, I find myself currently replaying “Out of Touch”. The plucky instrumental gives a groovy feeling to the record and compliments the sweet vocal runs of her voice.

Sew Myself Together by Joshoo

Joshoo gives a danceable record on “Sew Myself Together”! This house-infused track has significant replay value and a hook that will have you humming it all day long. The hazy mix of the vocals adds to the psychedelic nature of the record. Check it out below!

Departure by Prince Party

“Departure” by Prince Party gives me the feeling when I found Bryson Tiller before he blew up. This record highlights the potential Prince has to make relatable music for any situation. This record can be played at a party, by yourself vibing, smoking, and chilling with a ting; never feeling out of context.

Fall 2 Fast by Particle

I’ve been getting into Drum and Bass since moving down to Miami. Being exposed to more of this genre, I’ve been seeking up-and-coming musicians that push the boundaries. Particle does precisely that on “Fall 2 Fast,” and I can’t get enough of it. The airy female vocals that are woven between the snappy production are haunting and beautiful. I recommend you give this a few listens.

Crazy by Domenic Haynes

Domenic Haynes is a gem! I’m confused about how I’m just hearing about him because the music he’s been releasing is unique and some of the best stuff I’ve listened to. His latest release, “Crazy”, is just another addition to his pristine catalog. His raspy and nasally delivery over the soulful production is one of a kind. This guy is a talent and someone you need to keep on your radar.

Woozy by Maeko

Boston’s Maeko makes some of the best indie-pop out of the city! “Woozy” is an upbeat record that brings me back to being in love in the best city in the world, Boston. This vividly transports me to walking on a summer day with my girl by my side on Newbury street. I love the vocal harmonies that are laced into the production. Also, Maeko’s vocal tone is unique and differentiates his music from anybody I’ve heard!

State to State Freestyle by G. King

There are very few artists that make an impression, and G. King is one of them! “State to State Freestyle” is a record where he shows his lyrical ability; he’s a true wordsmith. The aggressive delivery is raw and grimy but is juxtaposed by the beautiful imagery painted with his words. He needs to be on the next Dreamville Project!
