Future, Young Thug, Chance The Rapper; these are just a few of the many artists who are not eligible to win a grammy because they decided to release their music for free. With Chance 3 on the way, Chance The Rapper has made it known on twitter that he completely supports signing Max Krasowitz’s petition titled, “Allow Free Music to be Eligible for Grammy Nomination.”
As a signee of this petition myself I strongly recommend our DC readers to take the time to sign this petition for yourself. Lets end this “not for sale, not eligible for a Grammy” bullshit once and for all and give artists like Chance the recognition they deserve! You can find the petition below!
