When I first started this segment — roughly a couple months ago, I was approached by a homie/friend of the site with the question: “Do you really think you could post this segment 4 times a week?” At the time, I really didn’t know how long it would last, but I proceeded nod my head yes and carried on with my day. Now, a couple months into the segment, it has become my favorite thing to do on the Internet. Not only are the Soundcloud selects extremely dope, but they’re highly slept on and even more lowkey — the mission is to get people to ACTUALLY listen to rising talent.
If you get down to it, HSDSOS is basically an online segment to make your playlist game A1, and that trend continues today. Once again, this weeks installment is filled with artists such as DC favorites Dave B and Nessly, DC newcomers Cheez, WR, Sophie Meiers, Samurai Del, Brick Grillins and Czech Royalty — plus a bunch more.
