With one of the undisputed top quality projects of 2018 so far, Dreamville king J. Cole has attracted so much attention in the recent run of his career. With a firm chokehold already grasping his core fan base, Cole’s name only continued to inflate due to his association with the Lil Pump centered beef. Although that was put to rest in probably the most mature fashion it ever could’ve, it shed a light on Cole’s music to a younger crowd who may have yet to been exposed to his lyrical prowess. With the drop of K.O.D. the North Carolina native showed that he doesn’t plan on going anywhere soon, regardless of his age respective to some of the younger stars of today. In a follow up sweep, he brings to the table a fresh new freestyle titled “Album Of The Year,” and it is a fitting title.
