Holy fucking shit. This is it, I’m sure of it. This is what is going to put Milwaukee music on the map. Jacob Latimore dropped the video for “The Real” featuring Milwaukee’s next rising up-and-comer IshDARR, and fuck man. The song was already amazing, but the video really added to the aesthetic of the song. If this was released back in June, I can almost guarantee you that this song would have been a viral summer hit. I still think this song will go viral, because it just has that “it” factor that all of the big-wigs at the record labels are always talking about.
Jacob Latimore is already a pretty established artist from Milwaukee, and I think that this song he did with Ish will really put him on to big things. I’m excited to see where this takes not only him, but the rest of “The 4,” or Milwaukee. One person’s success is another person’s inspiration to make awesome shit.
Sorry for the tangent, but I feel like Ish is well deserving of some kind words after the moves he’s been making for the last year and a half. Check out the video above, and keep your eyes peeled.
