The first week numbers for Jay Rock’s long-awaited 90059 album is finally here. The album was projected to move 15k-18k in it’s opening week, ultimately selling 16,012 copies in it’s opening week.
Although Kendrick Lamar moved 324,000 units and Soul moved 95K, Jay Rock’s opening week should not be hailed a failure. To put things into perspective, Migos — who is ALL over the radio — only moved around 14k in their opening week. You go, Jay Rock.
