New York-based Sovereign Brands has officially announced that they have sold their company stake to the former Big Pimpin’, JAY Z, who he basically put on if you remember the Black Album — unless you’re like 8. The Champagne company, better known as Ace of Spades, did not disclose the terms but did release this statement:

“We are proud to announce that Sovereign Brands, a New York-based wine and spirits company owned by the Berish family, has sold its interest in the Armand de Brignac Champagne brand to a new company led by the globally renowned Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter.”
