It seem’s as though Jay is finally making an attempt to be more accessible to non-Tidal users; last week his album, 4:44, was available for free in promotion with Sprint! The video, co-directed by Jay-Z and Mark Romanek (“99 Problems, Picasso Baby”), was previously available exclusively on Tidal. The animation used references offensive cartoons from studios such as Warner Brothers and Disney, as well as from the (racist) children’s book, “The Story of Little Black Sambo“. Additionally I’m curious, does anyone else laugh while thinking about Jay-Z listening to Playboi Carti (most likely while Beyonce and his children are gone)? Regardless, check the video above.
