Chicago’s underground hip-hop scene is a goldmine. Case in point, JayairEwoods, who leaps back onto the smoky pages of DC with a great new collaboration with buzzing Chi-town beatsmith Flight. The two combine for a great duo on “Rawest Alive,” which is just the second track we’ve received from Jay at all. Flight laces him with a killer beat that sets the stage for Jay’s reggae-influenced style mad well. It’s the first official teaser for Flight’s upcoming compilaton album Villain, which looks like it’ll definitely be worth a listen.
