The angelic-sounding Jhene Aiko returns with a dope new cut entitled “New Balance.” If I didn’t know any better, I’d say it was a clear allusion to her recent split from Dot Da Genius which led to her union with Big Sean. From the title to the lyrics, it’s pretty easy to tell this was one of those things where she just let the words and emotions flow freely, and the end result is a pretty dope ballad.
