Kane The Rapper from Milwaukee dropped his rock inspired EP yesterday entitled The Influence, and it is nothing short of a masterpiece.
So I know Kane personally, and I’ve had this project blasting in my car for like 3 weeks at this point. This is one of my favorite projects out of Milwaukee this year, including any singles. Each track on The Influence is absolutely pristine, and you can totally tell that a ton of time, energy, and money went into making this project have the vibes that it does. Drowning depression in lean, grinding hard, and doing right by your family are all themes of this EP. I suggest really listening to the word choice that Kane uses, and dissect it.
