Wokeup this morning to find myself face-to-face with some new content from one of my favorite rappers. Kankan is an artist who has cemented himself into underground legend with his hit-track “Wokeup” (arguably one of the biggest underground songs of all time), and he just recently dropped his EP ##B4W2G. He just dropped a visual for “Don’t @ Me”, one of my favorite songs off the EP.
“Don’t @ Me” is an up-beat and catchy banger, and the accompanying visual reflects those qualities. Production on the track is extremely bouncy and airy, and the beautiful flute instrumental really elevates the beat to the next level. Kankan does what Kankan does best, drop some extremely memorable bars with his signature delivery. Houston legend Sienna Burmess takes the reigns for this visual, and delivers a beautiful piece of work. Both the cinematography and the editing are to die for.
