Two nights ago, the official live set of the 2015 BET Honors awards went down. Among the other awards that were presented, was Kanye’s extremely impressive Visionary Award.
With that came the presenter of the award: Damon Dash. Damon Dash obviously has some issue still with Mr. West because he definitely threw some shade at Kanye –stating he still has problems with the GOOD music CEO.
“My history with Kanye is I didn’t respect him as a rapper because I was around the greatest rappers – but he has courage” Dash stated.
Kanye’s obviously had some quotable lines: “You can’t be the kid in the back of the classroom with black nail polish. You have to smack the shit out of people with your creativity.” He also said this about his wife aka Mrs. Kardashian: “They say white girls go out and get a rich black dude. But my wife dated broke black dudes. So it’s not about the money.”
