We’ve been showing you guys a lot of Maryland cats for awhile now, and one of the younger, more promising cats from the area is an 18-year-old by the name Kasey Jones. He just let loose his first-ever project after picking up the mic seriously just last year, and it’s a solid seven-track body of work.

The 800 representative grabs production from a few of his fellow 800 members, GramFam musicmakers rMell and Matt McGhee, as well as a few other upcomers. Jones has a more mature feel with this project than most of his previous singles, which just goes to show his progression as an artist to this point. He’ getting better and better, and I think he’s got a nice future ahead of him as long as he keeps at it.
