A couple days ago, Kendrick Lamar broke the Internet with a single tweet — a tweet that directed his audience to a pre-order page for his long-awaited sophomore studio album. With the emergence of the iTunes link, fans around the world soon noticed that there was also an album release date of March 23rd.
However, two essential pieces of information were missing –the obvious title and a cover art. Back in January, a photo from Walmart surfaced the internet with the album title of “Untitled.” Now, with the rumors swirling again, Elliott Wilson, one of the most reliable music insiders and journalists, affirmed via Twitter that there would be an album title and an album cover.
Some rumors have been circulating that the album may be called To Pimp A Butterfly or 12 Homies At White House, with a possible cover art that looks like ScHoolboy Q‘s handwriting from his Oxymoron LP. I don’t believe in rumors so we’ll just have to wait and see. Untill then, roll up!
